Palm tree trimming in Las Vegas

Palms are our specialty. Frond and seed-pod removal, skinning, and shaping, done the safe way, all year round.

Las Vegas is full of palms, and they need very different care than desert trees. Our crew trims, skins, and shapes Mexican fan palms, California fan palms, and Canary Island date palms across the Valley, and we leave your yard spotless when we're done.

What's included

  • Dead frond & "petticoat" skinning, which cuts fire risk and clears out scorpions and pests that nest in the dry fiber
  • Seed-pod and flower-stalk removal so palms stay clean and don't drop a mess
  • Pineapple shaping on Canary Island date palms, a skilled cut most crews don't do well
  • Crown cleaning and shaping to the healthy 10-and-2 frond position, never over-trimmed
  • Full cleanup and haul-away

We never use climbing spikes

Spikes punch permanent wounds into a palm's trunk and are an entry point for disease. We trim the right way to keep your palms healthy for the long run.

When should palms be trimmed?

Most Las Vegas palms do well with a trim once a year, usually late spring to early summer (around May to June), before monsoon season and while seed pods are visible. We'll tell you honestly if your palm doesn't need it yet.

What does it cost?

Palm trims commonly run about $75 to $200 per tree depending on height and how overgrown it is. Very tall palms cost a bit more for the extra reach. You'll get an exact price with your free estimate, call or text a photo to (702) 970-1333.

Palm FAQs

Common palm questions

How often do palm trees need trimming in Las Vegas?
Usually once a year, in late spring or early summer. Watch for drooping dead fronds, a brown skirt, or visible seed pods.
Do you remove the dead "skirt" on fan palms?
Yes. Skinning the dead fiber off the trunk reduces fire risk, removes scorpion and pest hiding spots, and looks much cleaner.
Can you do the "pineapple" cut on date palms?
Yes, Canary Island date palm pineapple shaping is one of our specialties.
Do you use climbing spikes?
Never on palms we are trimming, spikes wound the trunk and invite disease.
